Q. How do I get to Kaufman Astoria Studios?
A. Take the R train to Steinway St. in Queens. This is the closest station to the studio. Full subway and driving directions can be found here.
Q. Are there any jobs available at Kaufman Astoria Studios?
A. KAS does not hire movie production personnel, actors, etc. When the studio hires administrative help, we place ads in the New York Times or Daily News. KAS does not have any openings at this time.
Q. What are your stage rental rates?
A. KAS does not list stage rates because each job is different, according to equipment requirements, stage size, office needs and how long the production will be staying. To inquire about renting stage space, click here and we will promptly get back to you.
Q. Who can I talk to about renting office space?
A. Office space is available in the Kaufman Astoria Studios building and the Annex building on 37th St. You can email a space inquiry to Elaine Ferranti or Contact her by phone at 718-392-5600.
Q. What is the layout of your stages?
A. Please see the Stages section of our website where you can view and print stage specifications and layouts.
Q. Can I take a tour of KAS?
A. KAS does not give tours to the public. The public may, however, visit our Studio Cafe. You may also enjoy a visit to The Museum of the Moving Image which is nearby. Please see our guide to attractions in Astoria for more information.
Q. Can I get tickets to live productions at KAS?
A. While KAS formerly hosted the Cosby Show and Whoopi Goldberg's show, there are currently no live productions at KAS.
Q. Can I get tickets to a movie?
